We regret to announce the passing of former bandsman and charter member, Patrolman Kevin Patrick Meagher. Kevin was 94 years old and leaves behind his bride, Anne, of 67 years, three children and four grandchildren. He is the older brother of Brian, Sr. and uncle of Brian, Jr. He was a tremendous musician and loved his time in the band. In addition to playing the pipes he also played the fiddle and fife. Kevin was an Iona College graduate. After serving as an MP in the US Army he started his career in the NYPD in the 30 Pct. in 1956. He also was an original member of the Accident Investigation Squad.
